Born and raised in Udonthani, Thailand, Chef Amita Phookaw discovered her love for cooking at an early age. Growing up with her grandmother—who loved preparing hearty home-cooked meals—Amita spent her childhood helping in the kitchen and learning the secrets of traditional Thai cooking.
